Davis has some of the safest streets in America. Our local police and firefighters are the stewards of our safety.

We count on them to protect the children playing in our parks and riding their bikes along the city’s bike paths.

We count on them to protect our homes and property. We all count on them in our time of need and during the unfortunate circumstances of an emergency.

In my second term, I will continue my commitment to public safety by:

• Securing funds for additional public safety personnel, equipment and training resources.
• Strengthening our emergency response program.

I am proud to have the support of local police and firefighters.
